An Australian in Baghdad was a special evening of music and storytelling presented by award-winning composer and pianist Warren Wills. The event explored Wills’ cultural journey to Baghdad in May 2022, where he collaborated with legendary Iraqi musician Ilham Al Madfai, often known as the “Beatle of Baghdad”.
The performance shared stories, music and reflections from the trip, highlighting the power of music as a bridge between cultures. The evening featured live performances and special guest appearances, celebrating international collaboration and artistic exchange.
